So, inspired by a PH poster, I joined a Facebook group extolling the virtues of Ikea's Swedish meatballs (nom nom nom). The GF then decided that she would do the same, for a bit of a laugh.

As it happened, the Facebook group page contained a link to some obscure, rarely-visited motoring website. GF clicked on this link and, knowing my user name, did a bit of exploring.

Wherein she found the whole story about the hidden web-cam incident. She was rather less than impressed that I had shared this story with "the whole of the internet". She went on to find a post where I had described my plans for the weekend as "GF on Saturday, ex-GF on Sunday". Again, not really impressed.

Inspired by her findings, she went on to hack into my email account, where she came across an email I'd sent to the ex-GF recently. The email was totally innocent and easily explained, but in the light of her findings, was just further incriminating evidence.

The upshot is, what little trust there was has been lost, I'm still "obsessed" with the ex and it's all over.

Thank you and goodnight.

Serves you right!!

It really does make you wonder why people put personal stuff up on the net. Especially when it comes back to bite you in the ass!!

Be sure your sins will find you out!

Or, in reality, be sure 'that which your G/F perceives as' sin will find you out.

Unlucky. That old post did make me laugh when I read it. How the hell did she guess your password though? You had better back up your 'only' copies of 'her' videos sharpish

I had logged into AOL on her laptop, which "remembered" my details.

You know it already - but better off without that one!

Sounds like one of those girls that does more digging than Severn Trent:

Like when temporary girlfriend and myspace collide... then starts sending random 'hello' messages to other women she finds on your friends list yikes
