I'm not talking about hangovers here, I'm talking about being able to get up and do things. It seems like I am an energy-less wreck the full day after a night on the ale.

Any quick fixes for some get up and go? I feel OK in myself, not ill, I just have no drive. Getting straight back on it isn't really an option due to employment difficulties!

Thanking you...

Chilli may help to put some zing in your step. Spicey Bloody Mary if you can, if not try some of that there Reggae Reggae sauce with your brekky: yummy and it gets your attention smile

  • May have catastrophic effect upon your digestive system on top of the beer mind...

Make sure you have a few pints of water before you go to bed. I usually always do this but when I came in last night I was slightly worse for wear and just wanted my bed so didn't bother with the water. Suffering today though.

Drink more. You may have a hangover, but then you'll be justified in feeling stesmile

You could consider becoming an alcoholic, then you'll be able to function just fine however much you drink. As a bonus it's pretty glamorous, what with the associations with hemingway etc, and you'll get up to all sorts of mischief during your blackouts.

Sadly I have only ever attained 'problem binge drinker' status so am still typing this from within bed...
