Possibly a bad example given the underlying ethos of PH but..
You don't see many babies being christened Trevor these days..or I suppose Colin, Malcolm and Roger.
I suppose on the girl front it would be Elaine, Shirley and Sharon.
Why is this? Do you think those names will make a comeback in the future?

And of course what's your nomination for the baby name that would raise eyebrows amongst your friends!!

My housemate (22) pulled a female known as Susan a few weeks ago - having not known her age but assuming she was 26 max. Her name immediately set my alarm bells ringing - turns out she was 31 hehe

Wasn't there some Nazi types who tried naming their kid Adolf Hitler, although it may have been in NZ?
I assume there are plenty of adolfs in Germany.

There aren't too many Bernards either. Imagine calling your son Bernard? It's just wrong!

we're having a baby in a week or so. I want to call him Eric, if he's a lad. After my grandad.

Wife not keen at all.

Names go in and out of fashion.

Some of the more traditional ones are back in at the moment - Harry, Alfie, Jack, Archie, Charlotte, Olivia etc. Others that were popular thirty or forty years ago are currently out of fashion - Steven, Paul, David, Sharon, Samantha, Deborah etc
