Not turning into a beardy sandal and cardigan wearing type, but does anyone know what the larger type of couscous is called? OH keeps buying ready made stiff from Sainsburys, but costing a fortune. The things are about 4mm diameter. Not the most gripping of threads

Giant couscous. Also known as 'fregola sarda' or 'mougrabieh'.
