I could be wrong here but wasn't Wacko confined to a wheelchair not so long ago when it looked like the kiddie fiddling charges would be coming home to roost? (not that that would have any bearing on his alleged illness of course)

I'm pleased he has had a miracle recovery to the point where he has the energy & fitness to play 50 plus gigs at the O2, and who knows how many more around the world.

Isn't life lovely?.....

With all these extra dates being added through until 2010 I wonder if he'll pocket all the cash from the ticket sales then not turn up.

I'm amazed people spend their money on tickets to fund a kiddy fiddler.

I bet Gary Glitter wouldn't get quite the same reaction.

For the benefit of the naive (including Simple Two)

first person in history to get Dementia and then recover

you see, things aren't always what they seem, especially with a good PR team behind you...

Anyone think he has a number of stunt doubles to mime along to the shows?

In fairness though, whatever has passed, M.J. is a very talented musician. Gary Glitter just shuffled about shouting.

Many of the great people in history were considered a bit wierd.

16,000 hits per second on the ticket order page, muppet madness.

Thanks for the compliment but I prefer to adopt the 'innocent until proven guilty' approach. I guess you prefer the easier route of believing everything you read in the papers - which is why people like Max Clifford are so rich. Yes Micahel Jackson is rather weird, but so what? Move on.

ETA: But I agree he's an easy target for anyone who wants to punch something.

Someone who has never been taught right from wrong, someone who missed out on all the little things that make people grow into 'normal' adults. The public has made him who he is.
