Now i wouldnt buy that car, purely as i would know that every time i opened the bonnet i would have to read that stupid "plaque" where some moneky has spelt timing... "timming"

Does anyone else get annoyed by this?

oh god, shoot me NOW..... i wont edit that on principle that i im going home from work, i've had enough.

although in my defence, slipping a key on a keyboard is slightly different to writing a plaque on a customers car...

If one is going to go on a rant about bad spelling - one must be absolutely spot on with one's own, mustn't one?

Transposing characters on a keyboard is easy, so is hitting a key twice, but not when writing by hand. I also note they almost spelt 'again' wrong wink

What's a moneky? Are you also having trouble with spelling?

I'm still trying to work out why a monarchy would want to put a plaque on a Fiat anyway...

Perhaps because it shows a substantial deterioration in the education of the public in the use of their own language? I have German friends who speak and write better English than many of my English friends.

I just KNOW I've made a mistake or two in the above, it's the PH law

Perhaps it has a timming belt because it was built by Tims. As these cars were built by Roberts. Got to love the NTNN team.

For a bonus point what was the original advert for?

As others have mentioned, "i" should be "I". Oh, and "wouldnt" should be "wouldn't".
