Is this normal?

I have two Tom-Cats - Hiro (Fat Cat) and Ando (Gay Cat). I have no problem with Ando being gay - it is his choice, and it really doesn't bother me. I was never really looking forward to the day when he reached 18 and we went to some of the seedier clubs of London for a beer.

Also I am not convinced he is gay - I think probably more likely bi-sexual judging by what he does with the female tabby from next door.

The problem I have is that Hiro doesn't really seem to like it. Even though Hiro is the bigger cat, he is definitely the less dominant of the two cats in the house. Also very lazy - so can't be bothered to fight him off. But the noise he makes when being attacked, suggests to me it is tantamount to "cat rape". Also I am sure the fact they are brothers from the same litter, is also probably not quite legal - at least in human world.

They are both approx 18 months old, and both have had their nuts chopped. The Mrs claimed to have seen this when they were very young, but I thought it was in her warped mind. However it has become moroe frequent (daily) and I have seen this occurring.

So is this normal for cats to behave in this way? Are they like Bonobos?

Just curious for others thoughts and experiences with their own felines. If there is anyway I can stop it, I am sure Hiro would appreciate it.

Can't you condition the cat to stop this like any other unwanted behaviour? Every time he mounts his chubby concubine spray him with water until he stops. Repeat until he doesn't do it.

Unless he's into watersports too, in which case this will not help! hehe

Similar here - two boys - Harry & Floyd - Burmese cross's

As they reached about nut chop age (6months?), Floyd used to stalk his brother and try to mount him - really quite disturbing - but since the nut chop, all they seem to do is fight like a pair of old queens....

If your's still tries it one sans nuts, suggests he needs a bit of feline therapy....

Of the things I thought I'd read on this forum, that sentence is not one of them.
