I realise that in saying this I'm opening myself up to bullying, like having my lunch money stolen, but there isn't currently a "Nerd" section of PH (Bodywork and Detailing excepted) but can anyone tell me which Judge Dredd story had a gameshow in it where the contestants were killed by machine guns when they got answers wrong. Or something.

In my defence of non-scifi geekiness I only ever bought 2000AD once from a shop.

(after that I had it delivered on my parents newsagent thingy)

OK

Was Judge Death ever involved in a storyline where the contestants of a gameshow were shot dead when they got a question wrong?

Sorry, I never read any Judge Death stories...I remember Chopper though...I'm sure someone else will be along to ask a Death question

FF, yeah it does a bit actually...I know the part you mean.

Completely O/T, but I had the first five issues of 2000AD. I swapped them for something stupid, Jaffa Cakes I think.

I make some pretty unwise choices. Turned down Banksy when he offered to decorate my studio for £800, swapped a logo for a fleece, that sort of thing.

Ah well. fk it. I'm going home.

In The Long Walk (King but under Bachman I think) the runners who fell behind three times were shot? I don't suppose you are mixing that up with the sponsored snipers in 2000AD?

It's not as funny second time around tongue out.

Anyway, I am not to concerned about being criticised by someone with the word "Caravan" in his PH title.

(Not that I can talk - I do own a motorhome - but I can convince myself that the shame factor isn't as high).

It's late.

And I feel very put-upon today - for some unknown reason.

No but I remember that book too (christ, it's all coming out tonight. I feel like I've just come out of the ...server room would probably be apt)...although please tell me more about the sponsored snipers.

what prompted my remembrance of this is a thread Shadowninj has placed in GG with a pic of a scamera equipped with machine gun and it looks just how I remember these machine gun things. Was just a really grim story.

Hmm..I'll try and scoot around for some Judge Death questions...actually, where did those ones come from? the spooky Judges?

PS cheers for the link cazzer

Deadworld.

The crime is life. The sentence is death.

You mean Marlon Shakespeare?... The only man to shoot the Fox backwards and live.

A Death question: what substance was used to encase the Dark Judges?
