If someonme is on your site and they are serious surely THEY will call YOU? Will you call/reply in a timely manner or will they be able to request a call back window?
We have this. Day and time to be called back. They are always out.Unless you can ensure to call back in the next 5 mins you're going to get a hiding for nothing.

Hi Dave...One of the options that would be on this "call me back" window would be a box to state what time you would like to be called back on.
f
ks me off when you send a tentative 'character finding out' email to a company who specifically have 'EMAIL' as a Contact option only to be ignored.
You just failed and lost my business.
Once I have received that first step then I will Call or get the Call Back.
I am just a busy as 'you' and a brief email, even if only to ask me to Call, is worth its weight.

ok live chat is something we can think about.
That one is very good - I use it for Virgin Broadband...Why not have a call me back which will back within 30 mins? Then have the option if they are not available for the next 30 mins then e-mail.
However, it may be more helpful to know about the business and the idea to a degree, as in some cases (let's say a plumbing emergency number) if you don't get an instant response then you will be off to the next company on the list...

Waste of time, in my view - if someone is online then they either want the answer available on the website, or they want to e-mail their query. If they want to call, they'll call you. I hate waiting to be called back - if it's not virtually instant, I'll be in a bad mood.
Which is where live chat comes in.Gassing Station | The Pie & Piston Archive | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
