Where to go in Winchester?

Are there any PH’ers in Winchester who can recommend which are the better bars/pubs/restaurants to go to?

Have never been there before but may be taking a young lady out there tomorrow night, so trying to avoid going to any of the less salubrious establishments. And is there anywhere safe to park a Tiv?
