On our local news that some people are STILL not back in their homes, despite being insured. Govt. are spending £7m on a new national flood cenre and giving some cities more money to help with surface water drainage.

How about training some of the new unemployed to drive a mini-digger and lay pipes, and use some of the none-sense VAT cuts to lay new sewers and stop moaning that the Victorians didn't expect it to pi55 down like it did.

There must be other national or local 'proper' projects we can get on with to find work for newly idle hands? Any ideas?
