Need an email address for someone high up in Nokia please.

Hi chaps, there seem to be a few people on here very good at ferreting out emails to send complaints to and bypass the lower levels where you just get fobbed off and binned.

I have always used Nokia phones and generally found them very good, however there is one recurring problem which has killed all my phones which is the charger socket on the small charger plug type phones, my current 6300 has developed the same fault and now as it is a few months out of warranty I will be left having to buy a new phone. This I can cope with however the new phone will not be a Nokia and I would like to explain why (although I am sure I will never get a reply.

Can anyone help.

Email them. I'd be surprised if they don't reply. This is not the public sector in the UK.

Sorry, but given they sell millions of phones per year, they will most probably ignore the complaint. It may be something that you have suffered, but I know lots of people who have 6300's and never had an issue.

Best bet is to take it up with your provider - they should sort it out. If not then contact a Nokia service centre (local to you) and give them some grief. They can sort out a replacement or repair.

I needed two buttons fixed on my N95 which was within warranty. 9 WEEKS! it took them to get my phone back to me. I emailed them a complaint about the length of time taken and all I got was a sorry, so if you are after a new phone, they probably won't oblige.

I must admit that I have never had a problem with mobile phones in the past and the providers that I have used have been very good. I am currently with vodafone, but been on O2 and Orange in the past and all have been fast to react.

Maybe its because I am a heavy user on a big contract, but free next day replacements and free insurance ensures that I am always in contact if needed....

If you want a reply, never complain by e-mail and (this may surprise you) whenever I've e-mailed an enquiry to someone in the public sector in England I have, without exception, received a reply.

Well in fairness even considering that aside from being a customer Vodafone didn't have to help at all (phone is from last contract I elected to keep it) they have been brilliant, I have the option of taking it in for repair free of charge even though it is out of warranty, or wait till Jan and upgrade it.

As the phone works (just) I may as well wait and upgrade in Jan.

I know a lot of people pull Voda down but everytime I have had an issue they have been more than fair with me.

So any recommendations on nice phones? Non nokia but hopefully similar interface.
