How strict are booker?

I've got myself a booker card to buy stuff for my company. On the letter with the card it states all purchases must be for the company only. How strictly do they enforce this? If I popped in their to buy for example, one of their 3 litre bottles of Jack Daniels, would the checkout girl refuse to sell it to me as its not a normal company purchase for an IT consultancy?

My other half has one for her pub, we always get stuff for the house, 10kg of washing powder has lasted us over a year

my parents have a booker card. neither really have the right to but dad made up a company letterhead for a caterer's with his name & details on and used that to get a card.

i borrow it whenever i need cheap booze for a party etc. never been questioned at all and have made some very bizarre purchases

Be very careful ordering personal stuff on a company card. ( I know to my cost) The record of the transaction is there for
all to see.
It may come back to haunt you when the inevitable redundancies are planned for the new year.

I applied online to get a card last week.

Website said someone will be in touch within 24 hours.

That was a week ago.

I don't think he's buying it on a company credit card he's using a booker cash and carry membership card to get some stuff cheap. I used to all the time.

The way people ARE'NT spending money at the minute i reckon if you have a card they'll sell it to you regardless.
My dad used to go there to get all his alcohol stocks for xmas/NY for home!

Most cash and carry outlets dont care once you buy once you are registered.

Just because you are an IT specialist doesn't mean you can't buy their food and drinks.

Makro are similar they sell so much stuff it is basically like a bulk buy supermarket that looks cheap to people that forget to add VAT onto the prices.

they wouldn't care, I've use my moms card that she had when she used to work for Lloyds bank, they don't even bat an eyelid
