The naked way which the government has attempted to strong arm the electorate in to voting for this by tying a positive result to the offer of billions spent on public transport is nothing short of disgusting.

I don't live in Manchester, and can count the number of times I've driven in to the centre on one hand - but I'm still keenly watching the result on this (and the subsequent zanu-Labour behaviour...)

Interested in this, one of my customers is already looking at premises outside the charging zone and paying staff extra if they need to, as it could work out cheaper to do that than lose staff and business

AND having read up a bit on this the vote is only "advisory" anyway...so that means the County Council will start up the zone no matter what as the government money is only being given if they introduce this Taxation Zone!!!
