How to remove Crayon from Plasma screen

Just got home to find my 2 year old has decorated the plasma screen in crayon. I'm hoping the suyrface isn't scratched as it's only wax crayon, but anyone know the safest way to clean it off?

I would go straight in with de-natured alcohol and a soft cotton cloth. Or vodka if you don't have that.

Need to avoid any 'harsh' solvents to avoid bu&&ering the coating.

ed-40 great for removing waxes, can't say it'll be too good for the screen, but purely due to it making a shiny reflective oily spot


baby wipes would do it. i use t-cut like stuff to clean my laptop screen, not to polish it, but to cut away any oils etc and not leave a residue (satin anti reflective daylight touchscreen)

wax is oil based, so water won't touch it, detergents would be a little weak, so an oil/petrol product based cleaner would do it.
white spirits also infact, but not thinners!

I went with baby wipe and lint free cloth, seems to have done the trick, feels a bit 'sticky' when I wipe some parts of the screen now, but will try some more later. At least it's clean now and all the marks are gone
