What would you do....

I have done a lot of Xmas shopping online this year- mainly to save waiting in queue and not having to go into 4 different shops to find one product.

So we are getting deliveries at home, only we have not been there when they have called, so they have left it outside on the exterior porch which is about 3 metres from public path,
busy road, lots of passer bys, all visible to people and maybe cars, and it's not a gated path.

Done it twice this week, and they have done it in the past during the summer. I have absolutely NO issue with going to pick it up from the depo.
So the product has not been signed for, and it is different comapnies who are doing it- not just one company
Apart from putting a sign on the door saying 'Not in, return to depo' (advertising the fact we are not in of course)
So, in this case what would you do?

I am quite a moral and honest person, so my first instinct is to accept parcel and forget about it.
But why do they leave themselves so open to people who may not be like that...

Call up the delivery company and say you were expecting a parcel today but it hasn't arrived and see what they say? They are hardly going to say they left it on the path unsigned for when it is supposed to be.

Stick a different delivery address in?

Mind you, you're not missing much. I work from home, and somehow that sneaky Pusiness Bost courier managed to get a card through my letterbox without me seeing or hearing him
