To All Dads Out There....

I think I may be right when presuming there is quite a high percentage of guys on here aged 35+, so I am wondering what you'd like to receive as an ideal xmas present.
I'm 18, at college and work part time, so not entirely blessed with funds so I'm looking at spending up to £100 on my dad. The thing is, he works abroad (oil) and currently resides in Western Australia for 3 months at a time (but home for xmas
)
I may get branded lazy for asking on here, but I'd rather buy him something he will actually use/enjoy than the usual xmas tat, hence me asking you guys for any ideas.
He's 48, travels business class everywhere with his job (thus ruling out on-board plane activities!), likes gadgets/technology/computing, likes outdoor activities (be it walking, fishing etc) and is a bit of a petrolhead (drives a Massy QP).
So, if any of you guys are similar to my dad, what would be your ideal xmas present that comes within my budget?

Thats not a bad idea, I'm not sure if he's got a nice pair (I've always seen him buy £10 ones from service stations!). That's what I want.

I actually done something reasonably similar when he left for work last time. Bought a mini HDD and stuck loads of music, photos, videos, games to keep him occupied while on the plane.
