Micheal McIntyre.... I saw him last month. Very funny, but the best part was when he slipped over and dislocated his shoulder durign the encore

Rod Gilbert, but I think he spells it Rhod. It's probably a bit like them having to spell all their towns differently to us.

Micheal McIntyre was as good as always, I thought Rich Hall was a bit mediocre this time TBH, he was a lot better first time around.

I recorded the other one on Dave and watched it later.

Frankie Boyle was on and he's just proper funny.

He was talking about how pessimistic the Scots are, and said although John Logie Baird had just invented the TV, he wasn't particularly happy becasue there was 'fk all on.'

I saw Rich Hall at Just The Tonic in Nottingham in 2002, If anybody has ever been to a Tonic night, you'll know how relaxed and informal it is (and how they get all the big names too) and after his set, we got chatting to Rich at the bar and invited him back to a mates house for a "smoke" he came back with a mate and had a few beers and a "smoke" for a couple of hours... top bloke indeed

Went to the recording of that show, they do two shows a night. Easy to get tickets, just go to Open Mics web site. Tickets are free. I think this years shows are all done and dusted, but keep an eye out for future recordings. Also on the bill was Frankie Boyle, I suspect after they have edited out the stuff they can't use on BBC, his set will be "Good evening-Goodnight"

Yes Frankie is genius! He is so matter of fact!

Stephen K Amos was also very entertaining, a very funny man no doubt!
