Good place to eat for kids. Oxford Circus

Hi All, I'm taking my neice & nephew to a show next Friday night and wonder if anyone has a recommendation for a good child friendly place to eat around Oxford Circus (in London, UK).
I'm looking for something a bit more innovative than the standard Hard Rock Cafe/Rainforest/Pizza Express etc. These kids will eat most things but I want it to be a special night out for them so no McDonalds etc.

Carluccio's could work. I am really trying to avoid just going for Planet Hollywood, because even though I really hate going there, (and I start seething if I am made to wait, service is bad or food overpriced), the kids will more than likely love it because of the flashing lights and big menus.
theres the over-specified-offroad-pram favourite of wagamamas on wigmore street which runs parallel to oxford street...
as said there's carluccio's & strada on market place (go north from top shop), a really s
te branch of ArrrSK also on wigmore street, there's the numerous caffys in john lewis (have to dodge the near-dead but they're all quite good and i believe they do children's portions of things..).
oh forget it on the last point i kind of thought it was for lunch!

Aha, you might just have something there, I've been there, it's cheesy, but at least relatively good quality & value compared to teh Hard Rocks/Planet/Rainforests of the world. These kiddiewinkies are only 8 & 9 but we'll be going early and they do have hearty appetites.

I've been toying with going to my favourite old school Dim Sum place where the waitresses push steamer trolleys of dumplings around the place, but I don't think they're quite ready for ckickens feet yet....Otherwise you could try Chinatown to stretch the taste buds a bit!
