I tend to notice when someone is trying to exaggerate with optimistic model nomenclature on their cars. The usual tell-tale signs are 330i badges on 318is with pea-shooter tail pipes etc.
Today was one of the worst attempts: '57 plate C220 CDI badged up on the rear as a CLK220 CDI. It was a four door saloon for god's sake.
And no, it was not a CLS.
Why would you do that?
