Bath/Shower In The Morning Or Evening

What time do you normally have a shower or bath?

I normally have one in the morning, can't stand not feeling fresh and clean. Then depending on whether it has been a particularly hot day or if I'm going out I may have another in the evening.

The couple I am staying with at the moment only shower late in the evening, just before bed and I can't help think they are a pair of dirty buggers by not showering before going to work. Just wondered what the general consensus was.

Back to topic, as a mechanic I usually take a shower in the morning and occasionally at night, in the winter here you'll go in the morning to get a car/truck[s] that have been driven in the snow and broken down and it could be minus 20F when it comes inside, then it thaws, and you can have icy cold trans fluid, power steering fluid, etc. dripping down on you, not to mention horse st, sheep st, grit and just plain road sick. Those nights I take another shower!

I do one or the other, usually evening because i like to get out of bed as late as possible.

Dont see the point in doing both. If you have one in the morning then what is the point in having one in the evening? why do you need to be really clean just to go to sleep? (unless the wife demands it for heave-ho purposes) If you have one on an evening why have one on a morning, not like you are going to get dirty while lying in bed.

Bath in the morning only, unless I'm going out in the evening ... Try not to bath in the evening before bed as I just end up falling asleep and waking up in ice cold water

Well, I tend to sweat in the night (we have a very high tog bed thing as the OH is always cold) so shower in the morning. If I showered at night I wouldn't feel fresh in the morning.. If I'm off out of an evening then I'll have a shower in the evening as well.

During the week (ie. when I'm going to work the next day) it's last thing in the evening. I need to hit the M62 by 6.40 am so I'm up at 6.20, in the car by 6.30. It's like a Swiss-watch - all clothes, shoes etc laid out in sequence and ready to roll.

Sometimes this gets cocked up and I end up having to do it in the morning. This costs precious sleep

Any other time and it's shower morning, bath night.

Every evening after a run or the gym etc. I'm not sure that it's good for your skin or hair to shower more often than that is it?

Don't forget that everyone sweats by different amounts. I barely sweat at all. If I hang two shirts up you couldn't tell which one's had a day's wear and which one's just been washed.
