I'm a little baffled by this one.
Get an e.mail from Amazon who ask me to fill in a survey which will take approx 10 minutes of my time, for which they will reward me with a £3 gift certificate.
I probably received it Friday or yesterday ...but only today do I have the time to respond. I clicked on the link, and the first question it asks is 'Has any of your family ever worked or is still working for Amazon?'
I click the No box...and it then says something along the lines of 'you're not in our focus group, we don't wan't your opinions.....exit stage left'
OK they don't want my opinions...fair enough..but was a bit miffed to see that the £3 gift certificate was only awarded to those who completed the survey....I would have done if I'd been allowed to.
I shop with Amazon quite often and felt I had quite useful feedback to give them re parcels left open to view ie. on doorstep, behind flowerpots etc.
I try and start the survey again and it totally blanks me this time as being someone who has already entered it.
Presumably. Amazon have used up their allocated £3 gift certificate allowance on the people who have already answered said survey...but to a normal everyday customer, who was hoping to help out in their market research ( took me some time to think what I'd spend the £3 gift certificate on though
)it does seem a very odd question to come out with as a participant decider.
I wonder if 'Being a family member or not of an employee at Amazon' can actually be classed as non-Amazon workers type racism?
Any suitable replies that can be suggested for their 'contact us' box?
