At that size and budget the LG is the correct choice.

Go down the local tidy tip. Someone's bound to have outed a non-HD box and taken it to the dump!

Though I agree with Plotloss. LG.

www.CPC.co.uk have a 32" HD ready(!) LCD Hyundai with DVB-T tuner for £319.50 + VAT.

they also do a 40" Hyundai for 450+VAT.

Looking at the latest update mag, just landed on the doormat, they have an AOC 32" with DVB-T tuner for £265+VAT.

+1

I got my TV from them around 6 months ago. Service was excellent, quick delivery and most importantly it was cheapest by a country mile.

Since this purchase 3 chaps at work have also used them and all with good reports back. Highly recommended.

PS: Get a massive one

I very much like the look of this unit, have read some bit's and pieces on other forums which are very encouraging.

Not seen much about LG reliability, what is it like?

how about no TV. save yourself the expense and use the money to enhance your quality of life with something like a bicycle or membership to bunch of museums/societies?

you don't *need* a new tv...you *want* one.

You assume I don't already have some or all of these things.

I don't like clever dicks, more often than not, they prove not be very clever at all!

Well done, further evidence to support my theory as if any was needed.

Make sure your SKY remote works with your desired telly. Some of the ones sold by ebuyer (and many others doing the same virtual warehouse trick) dont work at all.

I recently got one for the in-laws. Do a search on AV forums, there's a load of info on there. The general consensus is good, you can't get a better telly at that size for that price.

No issue with your Sky remote with that one, works fine.

No issues with LG reliability AFAIK.
