Ok I've not used it for about a year, cant remember the most basic thing...

=$D4*$D2*B10
=$D4*$D2*B11
=$D4*$D2*B12

etc

So D4 and D2 are my fixed values, I have a series of values B10, B11, B12 etc... How do you copy the formula down the column, each cell referencing the 2 fixed cells, and the relevant cell in column B? I cannot bloody remember how to do it...

If you want D4 and D2 to ALWAYS be there reference, it should be

=$D$4*$D$2*B10

Then you can select that cell and there'll be a thicker block in the lower right hand corner. Drag this down (presumably) as far as you want it filled.

Bingo - just missed the $ when referencing the Row as well as the Columm, ie I had $D4, not $D$4...

Told you it was an easy one!

And if you press F4 it will cycle through the absolute options for you $A$1, $A1, A$1 etc etc. Saves you typing them in manually
