Now, I only go to the docs when I'm dying or need sti medication (joke!!) but had to go see him today. Mother of all headcolds with full on death rattle and insomnia inducing hacking cough. Rough as a bears @rse. On a high dose of antibiotics fr my gammy left lung frown

Today being spent on here and watching series 6 of the Sopranos.

Supposed to be doing a 10k road race on Sunday too, that'll be fun!

Anyone else had good aids recently?

For once, i can say that im not ill!!!! However saying that i'll probably be struck down with full blown bad aids tomorrow.

The wife is suffering, although it started off self inflicted and evolved.

No, you've got bad aids, and shouldn't have come in.

THINK about it. If a MANIAC came in here, and SHOT you, anyone YAWNING would get YOUR blood in THEIR MOUTHS. You've got BAD AIDS, security please remove him in the next break".

Good luck with that 10k with a chest infection, I had one at the beginning of the year and couldn't even climb a flight of stairs without getting out of breath. Took about 2 months for the cough to go as well.

Yeah had to get someone in to cover for me.

Had to go to hospital for some antibiotics to get pumped into me.

Think I might have to knock it on the head to save embarrassment. Pi$$ed off though, it's the Leeds Abbey Dash and it'll be the 2nd year running I'm entered, paid the money and not been able to do it due to being illfrown Last year was down to a feck off hang over though smile

I'm usually a perfectly healthy 32yr old normal bloke, first time my lungs have thrown a seal.

I'm just starting my second week off sick. First time I've been off work (I'm only 20 though) sick. Got a bad back, lifted something wrong and it all went Pete Tong. Due back next week on light duties... we shall see.

I was at a major Scottish dance music event at the weekend, and a concert in Glasgow last night, hadn't slept in 40 hours, so I'm ill too...
