...make it a copy of Guitar Hero World Tour...the big box with the new guitar, drums and microphone!

Bought this for my kids the other day and just couldn't stand the thought of hanging onto it until christmas so handed it over straight away. (Ladies, Note that this is the real reason why most blokes go christmas shopping on christmas eve, not the one you usually think!)

Just spent the entire morning with my two lads and their sister playing the damn thing! biggrin

Managed to bust both drumsticks though so be aware you may need to buy in spares if you do buy this as a christmas pressie. As allround family entertainment goes, this beats the pants off of playing charades or trivial pursuit. And what's more, if you already own a copy of guitar hero then you can use it's guitar as Bass.

Absolutely hilarious, only problem is I think I've sprained my wrist playing the drums a tad over-zealously (hence the busted sticks!) rofl

Fatal error!

You haven't bought a Christmas present yet....no matter what you say, they won't see it as a Christmas present come Christmas day.

But lets be honest you bought it for yourself? Kids toys are great!

Nah, there will be other presents. This was no mistake, and in fact, the best thing to do seeing as I'd just taken their mother away from them for the best part of two weeks for a self indulgent 10th anniversary holiday. biggrin

My 3 yr old is getting Scalextric. Its the ideal time. Not because he can actually do it, but more that at 3 he'll happily fetch things like its a game - perfect for fetching cars when they fly off the track.

I've already bought my future children Scalextric set. Not planning on having any for 5 or 6 years yet, but I need to no how to set it up properly for them...

Well. I reckon this Ibulieve stuff is rubbish! My right wrist is twice the size of my left wrist and the Mrs keeps cracking jokes about injuries sustained from auto-erotic activities.

I bet Cozy Powell never had this trouble! frown

I had a play on my Brother in laws copy last night.

Having played the drums for 10 or so years i was looking forward to this. Once you learn where all the pads are i found it much easier on hard than on the easy settings as lots were missed out on the easy settings

It was a great christmas in the Steamer household when this little baby turned up under the tree!!

Not a cheap hobby if you get into racing - but it gets the kids outside, develops race craft + mechanics & electronic skills...

They had a GH set up in the local Ipermercato, I had a bit of a ply, thought, oh this is fun, it's a shame I don't have the right games console. Then realised I could actually go to my place and have a play on one of my six or seven (I can never remember/depends how you count them) actual guitars!
