Not really bothered if its 3G or not, just as long as it works with orange sim card.

Im now due an upgrade from orange and they have turned around and said im now a band 3 now, even tho they cant better my contract, so all the good phones are £129 and above to upgrade to.

So thought about the IPhone and buying one and switching the sim across and paying something similar to what my upgrade would cost, so where can i get one from?

have seen this site which seems cheap:

http://www.aycs.co.uk/cc3017/index.php?act=viewPro...

but seems to good to be true.

Will NOT do fleabay.

Read the bottom of the page - it says that it's not an Apple phone.
How long have you been with Orange? Surely you can get a decent deal out of them...

This is not apples version of an iphone and is not intended to represent that. This is an A88 iphone with the specs as described. Other features not described may be included.
It's a Chinese fake 'iphone'.

Enjoy the video, 15 mins worth of review. Starts off well with photocopied images on the box, and goes rapidly downhill wink

In France it is illegal for any phone to be locked to any network.
My pal bought an Apple Iphone from a Calais day trip/booze run when they first arrived and saved £130 on the UK price also,He runs an Orange chip in it no problems.
He did say that some of the features will not work unless it is on the 02 network unfortunately
(updates and some internet stuff).

Why are you staying with Orange? If you want an iPhone, can't you just switch to O2?

My mate bought a "hiphone" on ebay, it was total toss

The front menu looked the same, but go into any submenu and was just a terrible text interface, no decent features and the whole thing had Chinglish everywhere.

Avoid.
