I come to you, the P&P Faithful for help and advice.

I've googled this but can't find the answer I need.

My wife had a Parrot CK3100 fitted today and I have paired her Samsung G600 up to it no problem. Trouble is the phone book won't synch or transfer.

Please, i'm going insane pressing little buttons that all mak,e a little beepy noise but none of them is sorting the issue out.

I'm sorry if this isn't the usual P&P fodder but couldn't find a suitable forum!

Thanks in advance

if i remember right you need to mark all in your contacts, disconect parrot from your phone then re-send to parrot via bluetooth, then pair again.

Try this

  • From the Carkit
  • Disconnect your phone from the Carkit
  • To send one contact:
  • On the phone go to MENU / PHONEBOOK / CONTACT LIST
  • Select a contact to send and press OPTIONS / SEND VIA / BLUETOOTH / SELECTED
  • The phone will search for available devices
  • Select the Parrot CK3100 from the list, press OK and that will start the file transfer proces
  • To send all contacts:
  • On the phone go to MENU / PHONEBOOK / CONTACT LIST
  • Select a contact to send and press OPTIONS / SEND VIA / BLUETOOTH / ALL CONTACTS
  • The phone will search for available devices
  • Select the Parrot CK3100 from the list, press OK and that will start the file transfer proces

That sounds about right. I had to do that with my N series phones. Just remember if you add more people to your phone contacts you have to bluetooth them through to the car kit.

My boggo Nokia 6500 syncs automatically when it pairs with the parrot, which is nice!

Thanks everyone, sorted it.

Been sat in the drive for 20 mins trying the above.

I had tried sending the contacts but disconnecting the phone from that car kit was the key.

Thanks guys,

I can now relax
