moving email address, how to contact everybody in one go?

[marz92]

For ten years, I have used a free @macunlimited.net email address and have just been informed that if I wish to keep the address I will have to pay for it. That was the final straw, the service wasn't very good, so I guess it is time for a move. My broadband is with BT internet and have a 'hidden' email address with them, but never use it. As a Mac user and also a user of Entourage, I guess I might as well move to my 'hidden' email address to @btinternet.com. Question is, over the years everybody knows my @macunlimited.net address so how do I, in one hit tell everybody of my change of address? I guess this is possible, I would be most grateful if someone on here can tell me in a step by step way for me. Thank you!

Good point - will do! Thanks for the quick reply!

You might be able to set up an "auto-reply" on the @macunlimited address which can say something like:

"I am no longer using this email address. Please contact me on [e-mail]"

And anyone who sends you an email will get that reply automatically.

Combine this with a mail to everyone you know.
