FFS! Can't they just chop him up and put the bits in separate cells? Or even chop him up and sell his bits to the starving of this world?

I tell you, mis-guided civil human rights (which should be rescinded when you consciously decide not to be civilly law abiding) really gets in the way of using your initiative.

Surely whilst being inside a diet of bread & water would've shed some pounds. It's ok to let him out as it was a non-violent crime. Still, at least all the people robbed of their money by addicts to feed their habbit will make up for this shocking lack of violence.

How did you change the thread title?
It's something I'd like to know.

Sorry, my unimportance is unimportant to me, so I don't worry about it.

'But he didn't choose to be morbidly obese'

Yes he did, like all fat people he opened his greedy obscene mouth and shovelled food into it.

A period on a starvation diet in the prison hospital would probably have been of benefit to him.

That said I'm not sure people should be in prison for smuggling drugs, they should just be state controlled but that I suppose is an entirely different argument.

No he didn't. Using mods access, I changed it hoping I'd got in before the spelling & grammar police showed up. hehe

I did wonder. I'm sure I would've used correct grammar at teh start, but figured I did a wee typo.

Anyway, note to self: If I get into crime, make sure you eat loads of pies first...

I not surprised they jailed him for drugs. When he bent over and revealed all that crack they probably celebrated their biggest haul ever.

He served 25 months of a 28 month sentence. In the UK he would have done 6 months, and been let out, and given a house and a comfortable free income.

So, what are you all whining about???? confused

"Lapointe reportedly could not fit his legs under the prison tables for meals."

Sounds like the answer to the problem right there.

Dangle a Twinkie out front of him, you'll see some motivation.
