Some fking builders are working next door and its midnight. I have been round and asked them to stop using power tools and hammers as I have to work in the morning. The s just ignored me. Its the second time this week. Its fking me right off.
what can I do

Use the wifes car / daily runner to block the feckers van in!

Can't actually muster anything more creative at this time of night - so you have my sympathy...

.... ear plugs is a more sensible solution.

the s have parked on the road. I am making a note of the times but doubt any action will be taken against the tossers

Call the rozzers, say you asked them to quieten up and they threatened you!!

Or you could just put up with it for a few days, you never know when you may need such a favour back.!!

call environmental health, no construction work should be heard from the boundary of a property after 6pm

they will serve them a notice and will have to stop work immediately

A power cut would be great that might get them to stop working. What kind of fking time is this to be fking building

What he said. This cant be allowed so get the authorities to sort it.

I wonder if that applies to the small town in Bucks where I live. fking annoying thing is they didn't start till about 4pm today. Might be due to the fact they were working till 2am on tues night

I can understand thatthey have work to do (being in construction myself) but noisy works out of hours in a residential area is bang out of line

The guy who owns it is a property developer. He has had the house about a year but only started work on it a few months ago

Right im going back round ang giving them 10 minutes to pack up and fk off other wise im going to, well actually i dont know what im ging to do, maybe go back round with the cricket bat and smash the place up? But actually that will make even more noise, maybe not a good idea.
