Yes I do and oddly enough we were talking about this in the office the other day. Lots of Googling began and the memories came flooding back.

love the "walk forward", always done in a strange, posh accent.

They never let geordies on the show, not after jimmy nail's massive heed made a mockery out of the oversised helmet in the pilot episode...

Next time you post a picture, can you give us some warning on the thread title?

Nearly crapped myself given the dank, spooky realism.

Yes and it was brilliant! The presenter bloke was genuinly scary.

They repeated it a few years back on Challenge, still as good as I remember, although the graphics were a bit st. Classic kids TV, top stuff.

From the t'internet

"Only eight teams managed to successfully conquer the dungeon: two in Series 2, one each in Series 4-6, two in Series 7, and a final one in Series 8."

It was awesome I really wanted to go on but was too young, so I got a mug and jumper instead!

Thought the thread might spawn a picture of tumbleweed.

I don't remember when I've seen it yet I started the thread because yesterday I found a VHS in my room. I hooked up a player and played the video to be confronted with the odd computerized-airbrushed-superimposed art they use and those floating heads. It sparked a memory and rewinded to the start revealed the title "knightmare". I know it was a strong memory of the graphics and concept, yet I can't really remember the show or when I watched it or especially remember liking it at the time... if that makes any sense. Yet I know I watched it because I recorded it on VHS once! I did also have the spectrum computer game. It was st.

Why because the helmet would mess up your hair hehe

Is the VHS just one episode or a series? If it's the series please don't throw it away!

This was my favourite programme by miles when I was growing up. Loved it.

The tension when you heard the horn of the elves and you realised the little buggers were coming was horrible. Run you fools!!!

Brings back some memories that one. I wouldn't want to watch it again though, must look shocking against todays standards.

just the one ep recorded from the telly in poor quality too.

I am going to go through all the blank VHSs I can find since I'm officially "between jobs" and it seems fitting.

Can't find "Look who's Porking" eh? Don't worry - you'll get there eventually.
