In this instance, a quick painless death would be too good for them.

On a side note, why aren't they identifying the bloke who did it, they identified the scaghead who broke that babies back a few weeks ago?

I believe it stops an offender repeating the offence, it's also a fitting punishment for some crimes.

locking somebody up for the rest of their life also makes sure they never repeat the crime, but in some cases it's not enough of a punishment..... in this case, the correct punishment should be death

The fact they have all been charged with the 'causing or allowing', is that suggesting none of them is saying who did what?

I would have thought an innocnet one would have bottled it by now and tipped the other two in for a deal.

You mean corporal punishment?

Capital punishment may be a good idea in some schools but I'm not sure that you'll find a precedent from which to 'bring it back' wink

Quite, it won't be happy days for them. Think I'd go with death than a life sentence in a big building full of people that want to hurt me.

An eye for an eye.

Give them a broken spine and 8 broken ribs. And make them lie there for a few days.

At the very least.

Capital punishment is barbaric.

Killing someone for killing someone is just sinking to their level.

Also miscarriages of justice are a little permanent if the courts get it wrong.

Whilst Im happy about that, I don't like the fact that it's left to prisoners to dish out proper justice. They should get proper justice from the dock. From what I have read, neither are going to be tried for murder as it can't be determined which one of them it was who actually killed the poor thing.

In which case, why the fk can't they both be done for murder? It was definately one of them and they are both scum of the earth. It sickens me to the core to think that people like this will see the outside world again. Why do they deserve to?

Justice my fking arse. furious

I agree it don't make any difference to the type of crime involved.

I just think if you take a life, you give up your own!
Simple almost Biblical rule that every body understands and I think would act as a deterrent in some case.

I personally think the mental cruelty of locking someone up for the rest of their lives is at times totally in-human, but often this punishment fits the crime.
As in Hindley and Brady where it drove them totally mad, always hoping and never getting released.
