Shall I tell you why the got itchy bits?

Ideally you are supposed to wash new underwear before you wear it.

Paricularily if it's mass produced, high street underwear. It's been handled by hundreds of people before it gets to you, the cotton pickers, the weavers, the machinists, the packers, the labelers, the factory outlet, the delivery men, the store assistants and lastly the 600 people who may or may not have touched it before it makes it into your shopping bag.

Wouldn't you get itchy bits if you wore it without washing first?

The OH washes stuff before wearing it. I don't tend to, but maybe I should.

That's it! Todays good deed (I like to play the part of 'The Knight in Shining Armour!')
I'm going straight down to the pub and I'm ripping all of the womens bra's off, and if they don't like it they can damn well sit on my face

There's a type of man-made material called polyamide that I once had a horrendous allergic reaction to. It was used to make a pair of trousers and within 24 hours of me wearing them (yes I did wash them first) I had really bad eczema on my legs. Haven't been in that much pain from eczema before, had to wear a skirt for 4 days because my skin was so sensitive that trousers rubbing on it was agony.

Since then I've had other reactions, though no where near as bad luckily, to polyamide in bras, and once in a t-shirt. I now have to read labels for clothes I like before committing to buy.
