Inspired by the Radio 1 thread elsewhere, here is some quality afternoon entertainment:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=s5noU2U-IjU

I can't believe they got away with this stuff! "Pulled the zip right down and thrust me tiddler right between her flaps"

Some other Mark and Lard highlights here as well: http://uk.youtube.com/profile?user=HOPELESS88888&a...

Can we have these guys back on the radio, please? biggrin

I'm going to have to wait till I get home from work to listen to these, but Fat Harry White used to have me in stitches. Great stuff.

Mark and Lard were certainly the most entertaining thing on Radio 1 ever. Mark Radcliffe is still very good on R2.

Now we just need a STOP.......

Carry On.

And a biggetty biggetty bong in a Jim McDonald Style so it is.

A good site to bring back some good memorys. http://www.scrawnandlard.co.uk/ Go to the sounds page, some classic stuff like the never ending fanfair.

I remember almost having to pull over sometimes when out driving some of the stuff was so funny.

the moment they took Mark and Lard off Radio one was the moment i stopped listening.
and i haven't tuned into radio one since either!

actually talking of radio, i gave up two mins of my life in silence today at 11 o'clock and while sitting there listening to nothing but static i thought i'd tune along and see if all the other radio stations were doing the same, they all were except one, Galaxy 105...i'll not listen to them either, if they can't be bothered to turn off the music for 2 minutes for one day of the year then stuff em!

rant over.

radio one....wwhhhhoooooooooooooooooooo?

I thought it was:

Is it a bird, or is it a bloke, how the hell should I know? sorry I spoke...
Is it a bloke, or is it a bird, havent a clue mate, how absurd.

Dear god I'm tragic for remembering that.
