Facebook is a great thing.

The last time i saw my best friend was almost 2.5 years ago when he went off traveling, i would have gone but i was allready tied down with family. We lost contact as he was out in thailand and cambodia for all this time.

Then i come in to work today to find he's added me on face book and is coming back to the UK very soon in time for xmas.

I dont want to sound like a gay or nothing but ive missed him alot!!

Let the good time's roll beer

Proof that facebook, besides being annoying and something that can land you in the st if your not careful, is actually good at what i was designed to do.

McLovin in massively homosexual computer dating scandal.

Is that what it said on the front page of the 1995 newspaper, by any chance?

Hmmmm. Sounds familiar.

Is this your friend, per chance?

If I were you I would carefully consider whether inviting him round for Christmas Dinner is the wisest of moves.

Completely off topic but how in the world does Glitter think he looks anything like a complete tosser with that so-called beard? WTF goes through the head of someone like him when he looks in the mirror?.. quite apart from his "other" tendencies.

Even before his fall from grace, I always thought there was something suspicious about him, what with his wig and silver suits. Wierdo. More-so that he has that comedy facial hair.

No I'm pretty sure it was brokeback mountain. Unless you're on about a "special" DVD you own?

Then McLovin would most certainly be in a win-win situation.

Then i'd loose all respect for him laugh

We are missing one more member though, so the group wont be complete untill they come back as well but 6 out of 7 isnt bad.

I guess alot of you wont understand, im talking about propper friends you see, not the sort you converse with on the internet, but mates you have been out with every weekend for 6 years, gone on road trips with, been in trouble with ect ect.

Think of it as a school reunion but with out the people you dont like....

Last time I saw my original 'best friend' was in 1989. I went off backpacking round the world, adventure of a lifetime, he went off to Uni to become a software designer. We kept in touch by mail, and arranged to meet up in Phuket a year or two later. I left before he arrived, as my restaurant went bankrupt and I had run out of money, and forgotten our arrangement. He arrived, found I wasn't there, got all pi$$ed off with me and sulked for a while, didn't answer any letters.

He died in a bike crash a couple of years later, and we never did get to talk again.

Another good friend from the 80's, that I'd also lost touch with when I went overseas, got in touch with me about three years ago via Friends Reunited. We had a good laugh, caught up with old news, he'd got divorced, bought a big house himself, life was good.

He died of a sudden massive heart attack a year ago.

I seem to have this affect on people. frown

I don't actually have many friends, pretty much a Billy No Mates really, so I seem to have pulled the short straw with the ones I have got close to.
