I watched that earlier...had me laughing out loud! The awkward silence followed by a grin when DR is asked if Britain could have a black PM is brilliant laugh

I watched this last night on BBC2, had me in stitches.

The Pax-Man: Do you believe in political parties?
Dizzee Rascal: Yeah man they exist, they're out there.

I saw this last night.

Fair play to the guy , with all this political waffle over the last few days it was good to get the Sarf London view.

There is no such word as can't.

Respect to the Rascal. Paxo tried to patronise him and it didn't work.

Despite his odd dialect he essentially seemed to be talking sense and made Paxman look a little silly with his political parties comeback.

Paxman: Dizzee, do you consider yourself British?
Rascal: Yeah man, you know me!

Get in Dizzee! Agree with alot of what he said to be fair, even if it was spoken "hip-hop".

I was saying to the wife the other day that Dizzee is a clever chap - he has done very well with his own brand of music etc. However, happy to take that all back - bloody plonker.

I don't fall out with anything he said really, seemed quite sensible to me.

Really? I thought he came across pretty well.

Very Sarf Lahndan the way he said it, but agreed with what he was saying, in the main.
