Anyone know a good site to check which lenders have passed on some or all of the 1.5% interest rate cut?
Cheers

Lloyds are "reviewing their rates" on the site...

Give in a few hours and some companies might have.

LLoyds so far.... but think all nationalised banks will have to... so expect HBOS etc to follow suit shortly

One lender has pulled all their base rate trackers without warning.
As yet no announcements.
I suspect that most of them are having to rewrite their press releases.

Nonsense.

No banks will be passing this on in full. Some not at all. Except for trackers.

LTSB pulled all its tracker deals yesterday. They knew this was coming.

We have a Nationwide Tracker that has the facility to allow us to fix the rate for a one off payment of £600.

I'm thinking it may be the time to fix it soon.

I'm assuming the question is regarding people who already have mortgages with their mortgage provider, not new business.

Yes, sorry should have made that clear. My question was referring to people who already have mortgages with a lender.

SKY reported that Lloyds were going to pass on the full 1.5pct.
Funny how a bank that has been bailed out by the Government/Tax Payer can afford lend money at a rate below market rates. Other banks will not pass on the full 1.5pct because it is not financially viable.

The purchase of HBOS must be a factor in the decision by Lloyds - they don't want to rock the boat.

Barclays Woolwich are reviewing it and may pass it on! I then told the chap that I was on a BOE BR, not Woolwich, for some reason this months payment still doesn't relect last months 0.5% cut. They are investigating why they haven't done it yet. I have asked them to make sure that Decemebe is the BR + 0.26%!

Check your offer letter and the small print. dependant upon where your repayment date falls in the month and the decision there are some who can find it takes 7 weeks for any rate change to affect the monthly payment.

When the rate was last reduced by 0.5%, I got a letter from HBOS a few weeks later advising me that my mortgage rate was also being reduced by the full 0.5%.

Here's hoping that the same happens again. bounce
