Before I clicked the link I thought it was Micheal Palin - that would have been really odd.

Ah, well there's no need for Democrat propaganda now.

Luckily Obama knows absolutely everything there is to know - but maybe he didn't have the press asking him 'What's the capital of Luxembourg?'

I listened to that prank call 'from' the French president on Youtube yesterday. Her naivety came over as almost charming.

Yep, scary, and she's determined to run for president in the next election as well, she obviously doesn't realise that she is the reason the Republicans did so badly this time.

Apparently, whilst I was asleep, the major news corporations have been taken over by gossipy housewives.

I didnt think that was *that* bad to be honest. If someone phoned me pretending to be someone very important, who I'd never spoken to before, I don't think I'd call BS too quickly - especially if I was under the spotlight of the press. I'd have wound the call up pretty quickly though.

Re Simpos comments re capital of Luxemberg - I wouldnt expect a 10 year old to know that. I would expect a 10 year old (when I was at school anyway) to know that Africa was a continent.

A pleasant quality in a girlfriend/housewife, fairly unappealing when you're vying for leadership of a super-power country.

More like they've been fed up with having a thicko in the White house for the last few years they really didn't want another.

At least Obama can string a coherent sentence together and point in the general direction to his own country on a map.

careful there!

have a look on the recent BBC HYS forum - most Brits think Africa is a country not a continent!

they also fail to realise that Arabs come from Africa and that many could argue that Jesus was African? or Asian?

pot and kettle springs to mind?

and Brits are better?

think again and we are one small country

a teacher friend recently (probably against the rules) did an exercise with pupils about 14 yrs old - map of UK/Europe/World and asked them to name countries/places!

results were mind boggling - for a start quite a lot thought the USA was India!!!

i rest my casebiggrin
