No......not the TV production company, but the city in Spain

Mitzy and I have decided that we need a weekend away, one last bit of warmth before the cold really kicks in.

Anyway, whenever I have fancied an easy weekend away before, i have always gone to seville as my favoured choice, but it's time for a change. we have said we would like to visit for a while now, so we're going in a few weeks time.

Although I know what I want to do when we get there, has anybody got any hotel recommendations. I've just had a quick look on the net, but theres loads to pick from.

Cheers in advance

Actually not bad, killed off by badge snobbery and Fords awful styling of the Scorpio. Door handles used on Taxis and Astons.

Watch the rust on the 80s ones.

I know this isn't a good time, what with the American elections, Cara Van's daughter turning up and smells being the discussions of the day, but howabout giving this 2 minutes of your time to help me out?

You lot normally have loads to say for yourselves.

It won't be warm. I went in September last year and it was freezing due partly to its proximity to the mountains.

Ah, that's because Seville is on the plain and Granada, as has been said already, is much closer to the mountains. Won't be Alps cold but won't be T-shirt warm, either.

No real recommendation for a hotel. We stayed at Casa de Carmona, (in Carmona), when we were in that part of Spain. Stunning, select, romantic ex-moorish palace. Would always recommend a stay in one of the Paradors but not sure where closest one is. Google is your friend. Paradors are universally classy.

I have been there in mid November. During the day it can get up to high teens if it is sunny, but in the evening it will get down to freezing with a clear sky. And it takes well into late morning to heat up. Around the Sierra Nevada Mountains is lovely.
