Hi

Its my girlfriend's dad's birthday tomorrow and i haven't bought him a gift. Now normally i would buy my families gifts and she would get her's which works well... but as she has only bought her dad a book that was a tenner she doesn't want to put both our names on it as it looks cheap rolleyes

Which leave me in the st i need to get a gift for tomorrow but don't want to spend over 10-15 quid. So i need some help guys and girls what should i get a bloke in his 50's? Alochol isn't an option really...

Hopefully you lot aren't as useless at suggesting gifts as i am!

Cheers

Take a picture of yourself with one thumb up, looking as serious, honest and sincere as you possibly can. With your other hand, hold up a sign saying;

"I have never had anal sex with your daughter"

Envelope.

Done.

Excellent. A pro-bumming father-in-law. Best kind.

Big pork pie then.

And a nice mug.

If he's English.....why not get him a DVD of the 2003 World Cup Rugby final.

Or the Lions in South Africa or something like that....

A book of photographs of rugby.

A photograph of books about rugby

Throw a paperback at him and tackle him woughly to the ground. Have the OH take a polaroid of the moment.

What is the book that your girlfriend is giving him? Can you find another book that refutes the main points of her book, thus showing him you have a keen scientific interest that goes beyond raising marijuana plants?

Splash out & get him a rugby shirt.
It'll make her gift look ste & if she ever complains in the future he'll stand up for you because you bought him an awesome present!
Although it's a bit more than £15!
