...about bloody Edith Bowman. She consistently offends my intelligence.

Quote from about 5mins ago on the new Guns and Roses track: "you either love it or you hate it... I'm still undecided"

Is this your first rant ? Not everyone is cut out for it, and there's no shame in failing.

It is indeed. Re-reading it I've realised I missed out a vital rant element.

Maybe the BBC are trying the 'subtle humor' approach for a change

You're thinking of ABC. The BBC only have "humour".

Can you complain about Jo Whiley too?

I've lost count of the number of bands she loves

I agree, she is a tedious cardboard cutout.

Scott Mills also has possibly the most annoying voice on radio save for the news announcing woman on Absolute. I think if I hear him say 'Oh Whats Occurring' one more time I'm going to spontaneously combust.

I only listen to Radio One for Moyles (and because its the only non-inbred radio you can get in East Anglia), but the music is cack and he hasn't been that funny recently. Judging by the Jingles describing him as 'On his Best Behaviour' I'd imagine its not his choice... Still wont be long until he gradually starts becoming amusing again leading up to his next reprimand!

Absolute plays decent music, but I can't get it up here... which also means I avoid the stupid, narrow minded comments I've heard from a couple of their DJ's like 'Oh, I'm so happy that all the rich people will be poor' I heard a couple of weeks ago. Clearly the destruction of peoples hard work and families' hardship don't mean much to a vacuum headed, feckless, undereducated, unfunny DJ

And what's with the reading out of every fking text from every fking every time she plays a song, you know what, I don't give a flying fk if Lucy from whereverthefk thinks the last track was "excelent", not even a little bit and I'm sure the other 2-3 million people listening don't either, so why the fk are you telling me this, go and fk off and have another baby.

You're wrong IMHO.

Edith Bowman has one of the sexiest voices in broadcasting.

I'm thinking about having a word about the BlOODY US ELECTIONS.

We have had a year of this story that we have no influence in and it is really getting on my titties. It's just cheap, unimaginative news and I can't wait to see what pap they replace it with.

Please do - she loves every single band. Here opinion is totally worthless.

There are very few presenters on BBC Radio I enjoy listening to. I haven't listened to Radio 1 in years, Radio 2 is just about bearable* if there are no CD's in the car.

  • Apart from Sarah Kennedy, naturally.

I'm recycling the tapes I made in the 80's. This morning I was listening to Spear of Destiny

I gave up on Radio 1 ages ago, Moyles was the only entertaining one. Radio 2 is much better, get better music (as well as a decent pick of modern music, i.e. not dance tracks) and a current affairs intelligent (usually) debate in the middle of the day.

I would listen to Planet Rock for the best music but don't have DAB at work frown
