movies on my mobile phone

Just got a samsung omnia and want to put some movies on it for some long flights coming up. how the hell do i do it!

rag and drop to the memory card and make sure its in the right format for the phone?

You aren't allowed to have mobiles 'on' on flights, even if they're put into flight mode. Or have I missed something.

You sure have...on a QueasyJet flight from Malaga yesterday, I spent just over an hour watching Garth Merenghi on my iphone which had flight mode selected. Also travel regularly to Edinburgh as part of the job and FlyBe operate a similar policy.

as do virgin - you just have to have them in flight mode before you switch them off when the flight takes off.

Well, youre supposed to put them in flight mode.

Supposed to.....

I fly at least once every 2 weeks, and always have my iPhone on, listening to music or watching films/tv.

I did notice that once last week i got it out of my pocket to turn the flight mode off to find i'd forgotten to turn it on....

And you know what? The plane didn't fall from the sky.

Amazing huh.
