What would you do with £500 cash?

My mate just give me £500 cash for getting him a big job (he's a builder).

1) Should i just stick it in the bank
2) invest in something
3) spend the weekend down the pub

Buy a piece of furniture or whatever for the house. Then when your mate comes round you can point to it and say "thanks for the ...". Then it will always remind you what a nice mate you have.
