Recommend me a pet....
Discussion
Trying to think of ideas for a pet that will fit in with my work life. I saw an article recently about Sugar Gliders - flying squirrels, which seem ideal cute furry creatures, but I can't find anyone with a good word to say about them as pets. Nearly aquired a tortoise a couple of months ago too. Cats are out of the question as I have a dog most weekends....and caged birds are also out of the question as I don't agree with it. Any other suggestions? I can immediately rule out Gerbils, Snakes, Spiders, Hamsters...
We have a tortoise. He is quite cute to look at but that is about it. You need to feed them fresh vegetables every day, spend a fortune on leccy because they need a heat lamp on all day and their piss is particularly rancid and stinks the house out.
Why have you ruled out a hampster? Of all the pets we have ever had i would say it is the best. Cheap to buy and run, doesnt stink so long as you clean them out once every month or two and are great fun hold and pet. Plus when they die you can replace them and you wouldnt tell the difference.
My ideal pet would be a dog but far too lazy to walk it and pay its bills. Thats why i like other people having dogs!

Get a cat. Specifically a Tonkinese, i love mine, shes the best cat i've had by a long way.

I don't think my dog would tolerate a cat. She seems to have become very anti-cat recently.Gassing Station | The Pie & Piston Archive | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
