Just been listening to the news on the radio and they've mentioned that in certain areas they will be giving teenagers free tickets to see Quantum of Solace tonight to discourage them from trick or treating and generally hanging around on the streets!!!!

Why the hell should they get free tickets - why can't their parents pay for them to go like normal people????

Hey I've thought of a brilliant way of keeping the little feckers out of trouble.

We could just tie them up with rope! No need for cinema tickets then! biggrin

I feel that an adult restraining a child with rope might land you in a whole heap of trouble!

Next thing you'll be keeping them in a secret cellar for years!

Made of rope?

I reckon if everyone joined in and just tied 'em up with rope at the first door knock it'd be a nice quiet night!

We could even untie them the next morning!

Probably best not to leave them outside, though. It's been a bit cold.

Talking of ‘Do Gooders’, I am sure I heard yesterday, on the Jeremy Vine show that Foster parents in some council areas will be refused care for children if the foster parents smoke. However, if the child already smokes, the foster parents are obliged to keep them in their habit by way of paying for their cigarettes!

Is there any truth in this?

Don't know. But I'm sure their smoking habit could be cured using some rope. yes

They can't get down the shops when they're all tied up you see.

A week or two of struggling against the bonds and they'll soon come round to a smoke-free way of life. yes

I heard that on Jeremy Vine too - maybe thats the solution to a mispent youth - free fags and tickets to the cinema!

I just wonder whether they'll be given vouchers for free popcorn etc or that's where the cinema will make its money back for the over priced crap it sells.

Would like to point out I'm not in the best of moods today, as if you hadn't already guessed!

I have a plan - she has teeth, four legs and currently growing like some sort of monster.

Come next year she will be fully grown and will stand around 2 feet tall at the shoulders and big pointy teeth..... lets see if we get some trick or treaters next time?

hehe

I'm spending the night at my other halves in a small village up in the mountains of North Wales.

Not enough people up here to come trick or treating!
