Any on here?

Are you all totally nuts?

Had a team arrive my house 0800, constantly digging up the driveway then footpath and now the road outside, trying to track down and fix the leak I reported last night.

All day, digging, shovelling, in the freezing cold, sleet, rain, dark.

The same team are still here some 14.5 hours later with, apparently, many hours still to go.

Sod that. But well done all the same, and thanks.

They won't be on as much as GPs who work on the principle that people are only ill during office hours!

They even seem almost cheerful too. Not miserable in the slightest. Weirdos!

I don't care how much they're paid; it wouldn't be enough.

Even if that was the Basic, and every hour over 8 was double time: no thanks!
