Not sure if this is best here, business or computers.

We manually process many 'card holder not present' credit card transactions every month. We have many customers who for various reasons do not want to use Direct Debit or standing order.

So, is there a software solution out there where we can shedule these credit card transactions, adjust the amounts if necessary and then just let the computer do it in a batch without one of our account dept workers spending two hours pressing buttons on the credit card machine?

Cheers

cheers Kaelic. Will look into it as the Batchpro people don't answer the phone - so seem like a one man in his bedroom type operation - which we cannot really look at for ouor business.

I would be a customer who doesn't want to use direct debit or standing order. But for the same reasons I wouldn't want to pay automatically by card either. I would suggest that these customers might be happier if you provided the option to pay by cheque/PO/other non-automatic method.

People are dumb, Direct Debit is the way to pay, you get your money back if you have a problem and you aren't giving out info that is useful. Continuous Authority Transactions are dreadful, you are entirely at the mercy of the company to cancel it.

PayPal Website Payments Pro (recurring payments)
Protx
Worldpay (RBS)

All offer this service. Simple to administer, and all work well.
