Obviously these are spam mails with attached trojans looking for passwords and credit card details. Just a heads up.

Mods: move it to computing if you want nobody to read this. wink

You mean move it to the forum that specifically deals with Computing issues and provides genuine help rather than piss taking.

No, since this is just a warning, no matter how obscure it seems and not a specific call for help on a computing matter I'll leave it here for the requisite piss taking to commence. I'd hate to upset the locals.

wink

On of my email accounts gets about 90/100 spam mails a day. I wouldn't mind, but I haven't been slapping it around porn sites, either.

They just harvest it from emails you forward to friends and also for when you register your email with work or consumer sites and the admin is less than rigorous about looking after the data... all you need is for one lapse in security and the spammers have the data.

What does seem strange is that the emails aren't always directed to my exact address. It's a Tiscali account, and the email is often directed to x@tiscali.co.uk, yet it ends up in my inbox.

Some do have multiple addresses, some don't- they are just plain not for me. It has puzzled me, but I haven't got around to the ordeal of speaking to Tiscali about it yet.

They are for you; there's no way for you to see the content of the bcc field.

Sorry, that makes sense. I was confusing between when I'm creating a mail and can see the BCC and receiving one, when I can't.

Dunno about that but a large delivery from Amsterdam arrived this morning. And something's buzzing inside it.

They have been doing the rounds for a while, under other courier names as well.
