Why would anyone want to run for president / prime minister?. Just reading that thread about an assasination plot on Obamah, hes only a candidate and already they are plotting to kill him!, its not going to get any better if he gets in.
I can see why people want to be minor politician especially local politics, second houses, easy job, not a bad salary, no one plotting to kill you but the top job?.

Vote ME! I won't do anything bad. I only want to be paid!
Policies? Ummm. Getting paid and living in Brussels quite a bit. Ummm. Pension rights for MEPs. Ummm. Expenses - no need for receipts. Umm.
